Lifestyle goals: Smart ways to boost your wellbeing

Today I want to share with you some insight about why I decided to focus on bringing new ideas and helping you to improve your lifestyle. I know for some people it can be challenging, since it may require certain discipline and sacrifices, but from my perspective and experiences it is well worth doing! Besides being a trending topic in these recent times, I believe that everyone of us is becoming more aware of the importance to improve the quality of life.

Focus is a must in your lifestyle

I am a true passionate of being healthy and sharing my experiences with other people. I love to focus on having positive results, not only about nutrition, but also in wellbeing. Over the past years I became more conscious of my own lifestyle and eating habits.  I started to drive my passion towards my physical appearance. Engaging in fitness routines and taking care of my skin has been the go to priority. Since I noticed visible results, I eventually received feedback from family, friends and other acquaintances. This in turn, helped me to become more motivated about coaching others to do the same.

Lifestyle mindset

Over the time, I’ve also strengthened my spiritual life. I made decisions to care for my mind and soul. Due to different circumstances in life, I learned that being healthy is not just about the outer appearance. It is also about nurturing the mind and keeping a positive perspective. This may sound cliche, but I am a true believer that beauty starts from within! I started to get more involved in reading books, praying, meditating, following motivational and spiritual gurus out there on social media, sharing more with my family and friends, as well as traveling.

Leisure is part of a healthy lifestyle

For me, traveling and knowing different cultures has always been a unique experience. Travelling is an enriching adventure, it’s about learning, interacting with others and exchanging different encounters. For frequent travelers, it has actually become a school. They claim that there’s so much to entertain your mind to: from unique food exposures, to music, art, sports, lifestyle, language, nature, landscaping, and other exciting things. In my personal experience, going out there and see what the world has to offer is something we all must try, and it definitely makes us feel great and keeps us in a good mood. I will refer to some of my traveling experiences later. 

Beauty matters

There’s also a lot to say about enhancing our beauty, it creates more confidence and improves our self esteem. As a cosmetologist, I decided to properly educate people on how to take better care of their skin. You may notice that the health and appearance of your skin is directly related to how you eat and exercise. There are many secrets regarding skincare and beauty; and I’m happy to share not only what I’ve learned, but also my personal tips from trial and error!  I am not going to involve in depth, my focus is to talk about simple daily things you can do at home for your beauty care. You’ll be surprised at the amount of little secrets you can discover!

Additional facts

I’m also considered a true “naturalista”. I’m an advocate for embracing afro and natural hair the way how God created us. I decided to leave my hair natural since 2015 as part of a transformation wellbeing process. This helped me to acknowledge my roots. Additionally, I became empowered about how truly beautiful hair is in all its forms and textures. This process has not been easy. It took a lot of encouragement and reinvention, but I’ve loved every part of the journey. My goal is to motivate all of you who are seeking to better accept yourselves the way you are. I will also share some tips that have helped me along the way.

In this space I share different reviews on related topics and for us to interact as a community. The idea is to coach and motivate you on achieving your lifestyle potential  to a better version of you. I’m in the process too of achieving a better version. I’m sure this will be an exciting journey for all of us!
